Sony Music Centre Gets AI Strengthened DSEE HX

BREAKING NEWS: SONY FINALLY RELEASES DSEE HX AS A PORT TO PC, ANSWERS FUJIMOTO KEN'S DESIRE, AND EVERYBODY ELSE'S TOO - WE'RE CURIOUS ABOUT THIS ENHANCEMENT - WE LOVE GOOD AUDIO!!!

NOT TO MENTION THAT I WROTE TO SONY JP MANY TIMES ASKING TO PORT DSEE HX TO PC IN 2017 - AND I ASKED OTHERS TO TOO!

FINALLY, MID 2018, SOME DUDE BROKE OUT THE XZ2'S AUDIO PROCESSING (DSEE HX VER 2) AND MADE IT AVAILABLE TO ALL ROOTED PHONE USERS. HOWEVER IT WAS BUGGY AND ANDROIDx86 WOULDN'T WORK WITH MAGISK ON A VM ON PCs. THUS WE HAD ALMOST GIVEN UP ON SONY BEING OPEN MINDED. HERE IT IS! ENJOY!

Yes, indeed they have, and for those of you who are wondering, the first version keeps skipping sound when you toggle ON/OFF of the DSEE HX setting.

Sony Music Centre Software gets the THIRD VERSION OF DSEE HX which incorporates AI - you can see it in the AVLib folder with Metallic Database Library and Music Mining Library. Of course, we still don't know if this version might be an older or intermediate version...of course it's not the 2nd version with 5 presets, and the first version only supported up to 24/192.

32 bit DSEE HX functionality has not been tested on this PC port.

Note we believe this release has been 1 year overdue, as the AI technology should have been completed by 2017. Also adding to our chagrin is this timing of release. By this time they have gotten a full dose of marketing - like with Mr Ayataka Nishio's Super Bit Mapping of the 90s, and now they're throwing out their garbage, literally. Mr Nishio helped with the v1 of DSEE HX, intending for 'sound field of Hires for CD' and then the special DSD Remastering Engine which sounds good but will require much improvement to live up to its potential.

So there it is, try both and you'll find that some may derive more pleasure from Harmonic than DSEE HX. I certainly did. 64 bit processing wins in the end. It's very subtle on onboard audio such as IDT/Tempo Semi, Conexant (now gone into another company), Realtek etc. Expect no difference unless listening your very hardest.

Also it only works on 24/44.1 max or 16/48 max, but nothing including both 24 bit and 48 khz and above. I was hoping to get Hires up to 32 bit, instead of CD up to 32 bit, but that can only be achieved on WPUP. Use

Music Center's complete uninstall command line is MsiExec.exe /X{C373FBEB-5C4C-4257-A9FF-C8E3DD152575}. MusicCenter.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 9.54 MB (9998504 bytes) on disk.
